Are you completely fucking addicted to your cell phone to the point where you feel anxious when you can't find your phone and then when you do find it you just endlessly fall into mental rabbit holes all day and then eventually just get pissed at yourself with how much time you're wasting and how addicted you feel and how distracted it makes you but at the same time you can't really imagine living without it because it's your entire fucking existence and the way you connect to every single friend and every single family member and every single person you work with and the complete outside world basically not to mention it's the way you get every single thing in your life actually done so while you want to throw the fucking thing against the wall and see it shatter into a million tiny little shards and then stomp on all the shards that didn't quite shatter into small enough pieces you also totally can't do that because you need the stupid thing every single second of every single day? Welcome to Reddit,
A mutually supportive community where deeply emotional things you can't tell people you know can be told. Whether it's long-standing baggage, happy thoughts, or recent trauma, posting it here may provide some relief. We'll listen, and if you want, we'll talk. We aim to keep this a safe space.
I go to this boot camp-style class sometimes at a gym near my apartment. Then you go home and struggle to sit on a toilet for the next three days. Snapchatting their sweat beads so everyone could see? And the coach got pissed, yelled at them to put their fucking phones away, and we all stood around awkwardly.
So I made the mistake of dropping my smartphone. From a height of like, two feet off the ground. And of course, like a professional soccer player who has been trained to make a dramatic fall and fake an injury at the slightest hint of improper contact, the screen died.
